Gaye LaCasce
Executive Vice President

I am newly retired from a career in non-profit management and fundraising.  Music has always been my avocation – and sometimes my vocation.  I taught music grades pre-k to 12 for many years, have been a church musician and piano teacher, in addition to my college stint as a lounge guitar player and folk singer!

My husband, Dan Signor, introduced me to barbershop 22 years ago. Since then I have been very involved with him in mixed harmony quartets and choruses and am so very proud to sing with my daughter, Alexa Beal, in Aged to Perfection, the 2018 Harmony Queens.  During this COVID year, the three of us have been in a Charlottesville, Virginia, quarantine “bubble” and have given trio singing a try; we’ve had a great time learning charts that Dan has arranged for our pandemic group, which we lovingly call Family Feud.

It has been wonderful to serve Harmony in a way that allows me to “give back” as a volunteer, in gratitude for all the wonderful friends and experiences HI has provided.  Many thanks to all my hard-working, knowledgeable, dedicated, and talented Harmony colleagues in Area 6.  I am grateful to you all!
