Area 3 members are making their way to East Syracuse, New York to take their places for the start of what promises to be a smashing contest! Wishing safe travels to all! Stay up to date on Area 3 happenings here!
Congratulations to Area 2 on a fantastic Under the Big Top Convention and Contest! Congratulations Area 2 Quartet Champions, Intonations! The following quartets also qualified for International in Hershey: High Gear and Sweet Life! The Rae Borror Award (most improved) and Voices of Experience (senior champs) went to The Cat’s Meow. The Ones to Watch Award (youth quartet champs) went to the 4-Get Me Nots and the Area 2 Novice Quartet Award went to Not Four Minors.
Congratulations to New England Voices in Harmony Chorus Champions and to Renee Tramack who received the Guiding Hands Award. Chorus also qualifying for International are: Barre-Tones, Inc., Harmony Heritage, Silk’n Sounds, Sounds of the Seacoast, and Women of Note. The Betty Costellow Small Chorus Award and Rising Star Award (most improved) went to Maine-ly Harmony. Harmony Heritage received the Sandi White Membership Award.
Volunteer Appreciation Week is a time to honor the dedicated individuals who give their time and energy to support various causes and communities. In both the US and Canada, volunteers are celebrated for their invaluable contributions and making a profound impact on the lives they touch and the world they help to shape for the better.
Our volunteers are the Heart of Harmony, Inc and we extend our deepest gratitude to the remarkable individuals, whose contributions inspire and uplift us all.
The Hive is Buzzing – New offerings in May and June!
We have some exciting classes scheduled for HIVE! Every week in May and June we are booked! Additionally, we have many classes currently confirming through September. On May 6 at 7:30 EST, Jenn Cooke will present, Engaging in Virtual Rehearsals. Starting May 8, Tessa Walker will lead a continuing series on Building an Inclusive Chorus Culture.

New Volunteer Opportunity – PR Coordinator
The International Marketing Communications Team is seeking a skilled and creative writer to serve as volunteer PR Coordinator. In Search of Mentors
Harmony launches Administrative Leadership Program Pilot, a mentoring program for future leaders! We are currently recruiting Mentors. Prospective mentors will complete a questionnaire to identify their leadership skills, leadership position they have held in their careers, and leadership positions held with Harmony, Inc. Please consider sharing your skills and expertise to develop our future leaders. Sara Stone our Administrative Leadership Mentoring Coordinator requests “If you are interested, drop me an email and I will send the Mentor questionnaire to you to complete.”
