That’s a Wrap for Area 3 Contest!

Area 3 – Lights, Camera, Action!

Area 3 members gathered together and strolled the red carpet in East Syracuse for a weekend filled with beautiful singing and friendship! Congratulations to our Gold Medal Quartet, Velvet Crush, and International Qualifiers Legacy, Sassafras, Vivàce, Ephemeral, BACKSTAGE PASS, and SōlFire. Nexus was awarded the Cygnet Award and Relative Harmony received the Novice Quartet Plaque.

Bella Nova Chorus won their first Gold Medal at Area Contest, as well as, the Peg Duclos Award for Highest Score for a Small Chorus. Qualifiers for International include Rochester Rhapsody, Crystal Chords, and the Liberty Belles. Rochester Rhapsody received the Most Improved Chorus Award and Heart of Pennsylvania received the Jenn Linn and Rising Star Awards.

Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association was represented by Way She Goes and The Agency, who tied with a score of 902! Way She Goes was awarded the MBHA Champion trophy based on the tie-break singing score.

New Volunteer Opportunity – PR Coordinator

The International Marketing Communications Team is seeking a skilled and creative writer to serve as volunteer PR Coordinator. In Search of Mentors

Harmony launches Administrative Leadership Program Pilot, a mentoring program for future leaders! We are currently recruiting Mentors. Prospective mentors will complete a questionnaire to identify their leadership skills, leadership position they have held in their careers, and leadership positions held with Harmony, Inc. Please consider sharing your skills and expertise to develop our future leaders. Sara Stone our Administrative Leadership Mentoring Coordinator requests “If you are interested, drop me an email and I will send the Mentor questionnaire to you to complete.”
