Area 5 – Tropical Beach Party May 23-25
Today, members of Area 5 are headed for an awesome Beach Party! Sending our very best wishes to the 13 Quartets crossing the stage today! Tomorrow the excitement continues as 13 Choruses will be in the spotlight to share their music with enthusiastic audiences! Of course no convention is complete without awesome educational opportunities, luminaries from HI Judging community will share their knowledge in classes ranging from Authenticity to Goal Setting to Musicality to Membership growth. Looking forward to hearing and seeing social media highlights from Area 5, especially the Ukelele Moonglow songs! Wishing our Area 5 friends a wonderful time at the beach! Read more about it here!
Tempe Trail: The Path to Harmony Fest West!
Legend tells of a festival in the far west, a place where all barbershop singers can come together in harmony. In this storied place, singers of all affiliations are welcome to take the stage, to learn from the oracles of the hobby, and to sing a tag together under the Arizona moon.
We invite you to join us July 10-13 in Tempe, Arizona for Harmony Inc.’s inaugural Harmony Fest! Come for the contest, come for the education or just to support Harmony Inc.’s expansion project! The journey will be worth it!

The Hive is Buzzing – New offerings in May and June!
We have some exciting classes scheduled for HIVE! Every week in May and June we are booked! Upcoming classes included our Director’s Series lead by Sandi Wright and our continuing series of Building an Inclusive Culture with Tessa Walker.

HIVE Moderator - This volunteer reports to the Education Coordinator. The HIVE moderator is responsible for connecting with the instructor prior to class time to go over details. During the class, they handle the class/instructor introductions, goes over the rules, records the class, and manages the chat and the Q&A. Candidates for this position should possess sound organizational and communication skills. If this sounds interesting to you, please reach out to our education coordinator at educationcoord@harmonyinc.org
PR Coordinator - The International Marketing Communications Team is seeking a skilled and creative writer to serve as volunteer PR Coordinator. Join our supportive and creative team and help us spread the word about Harmony to the world! For information on how to apply, please contact the Executive Director Kelly Peterson ed@harmonyinc.org.
In Search of Mentors – Administrative Leadership Program Pilot, a mentoring program for future leaders is currently recruiting Mentors. Prospective mentors will complete a questionnaire to identify their leadership skills, leadership position they have held in their careers, and leadership positions held with Harmony, Inc. Please consider sharing your skills and expertise to develop our future leaders. Sara Stone our Administrative Leadership Mentoring Coordinator requests “If you are interested, drop me an email and I will send the Mentor questionnaire to you to complete.”
