Entering a Harmony, Inc. Contest
To all chorus and quartet contestants:
Harmony, Inc. has been transitioning for the last couple of years to the Barberscore system for recording contest scores and producing results. I’d like to thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we work through this major change. We have been collecting “lessons learned” and hopefully, will be improving the process for you all the time. One of the problems we have encountered was contestants having trouble accessing the BHS database, which in turn led to delays in submitting your Contest Information Forms and paying your entry fee before the deadline. To address that, we are starting this contest season with a major change. The HAR-061 and HAR-063 Contest Information Forms are now ready for you to submit, and we are asking you to do that piece first this year.
Shortly, I will be producing a new instructional video and updated instructions for entering your information in Barberscore and will be working with those of you who have still had trouble logging into the BHS database (or those new to the process altogether). We will also be instituting a Help Desk “ticket” system, in order to keep better track of requests and make sure none of your issues fall through the cracks.
