Our motto is “empowering all women through singing, education and friendship” and we simply cannot host a Harmony Inc. event without a lot of education and fun! Check out these event highlights you don't want to miss!

Judging Behind the Scenes: This session offers a behind-the-scenes look at the training, preparation, logistics, and duties of judges to provide the best experience for contestants. We'll share some examples of mishaps and adventures and even throw in some “What would you do?” audience participation.

Calming Your Nerves: Everyone has stage fright at some point in their lives. Join us for this interactive class on ways to calm your nerves before a performance, during intermission or even while on stage.

Music and Musicality: in this session we'll explore what makes a performance musically compelling, while learning what the Musicality Judges are really looking for in your performance.

Vocal freedom – embracing your natural voice: What are 'primal sounds' and how are they connected to singing and performance? In this session we'll experiment with a variety of vocal sounds and show how they may be used to relieve excess tension and release your natural voice.

Never Do Warm-ups: What do you do with your “warm up” time? Do you actually need to warm up? How should the time be used? In this session you'll learn how to better utilize “warm up” time by actively engaging with singers to achieve more unity and vocal health.

Introduction to Harmony Inc.: Want to learn more about Harmony Inc.? Who we are, what we stand for, how we operate? In this session you'll learn everything you want to know – Jeopardy style!

President's Open Forum: Our International President, Gaye LaCase, invites you to stop by for an informal meet and greet. Introduce yourself, ask questions or just say hi!

Master Class with Lori Lyford: We are thrilled to have Sweet Adelines Master Director 700, Lori Lyford with us to share her insights! Her class, Sing it and Mean it, explores how to be expressive physically, emotionally and lyrically.

Welcome Reception: You don't want to miss this harmonious journey along the Tempe trail where we'll celebrate the expedition that brought us here through challenges, friendships and lots of fun!

Tag Contest: If you love singing tags you don't want to miss this special contest! Grab three of your friends – or show up and be put in a group - to sing a tag for our judging panel – you may even win a prize!

Evals: Harmony Inc. provides an opportunity for all contestants to hear directly from our judging panel. After the quartet and chorus contests you will have face-to-face interactions with our panel for feedback on your performance.

Saturday Dinner & Showcase: We'll wrap up our festival with one final adventure - a dinner and showcase like no other! It will be a celebration of where we've been and where we are going. All contestants will be given an opportunity to perform on stage and all attendees are encouraged to celebrate our journey by dressing as a tacky tourist (think sunhats, shades, maps and fanny packs)!
