Area 6 – Denim and Diamonds April 10-13, in Orlando. The Area 6 Team is ready to welcome Harmony members to an unforgettable Convention & Contest! Be sure to bring a board book to donate. All books will go to Head Start, a preschool program servings America’s neediest children ages birth – five years.

Submit ASCAP/BMI Reports are Due SOON!
Kathy Stone, Copyright and Licensing Coordinator reminds us that submission of HAR-122 reports are due to Corporate by April 10, 2025, unless your chapter is paying ASCAP/SESAC/BMI directly to those agencies using your own accounts.
If your chapter had a performance or show that was attended by the public, regardless of whether or not you sold tickets, accepted donations or performed for free, you can fulfill your requirement by submitting Form HAR-122.
Is your jam strategic planning and organizational development? We have a wonderful opportunity for you as a Strategic Plan Facilitator. In this role you will collaborate with Area Councils to brain storm and develop strategic plans that align with Harmony, Inc.’s mission and goals. This role offers a unique chance to enhance your skills and contribute to our success so reach out to Facilitator Program Coordinator Katie Rose at rosek@harmonyinc.org to learn more!

Actions for Inclusivity
On February 26th, the anniversary of the founding Harmony, Harmony, Inc released a statement that reads in par “…inclusion is not just an aspiration but a reality. This is our pledge, and we honor it through our actions every day.” Our Equity & Diversity Committee shares highlights of just a few of the tangible actions we’ve taken:
- Accessible contest stages with ramps, lifts, and riser chairs
- Outstretched hands to every race and creed
- The HIVE Library classes available to all members
- Chorus Angel Funds to assist members when needed
- Youth Member of the Year Award at International Contest
- Member voices engaged at Equity & Diversity Roundtable Discussions
